Hunter’s Head
Located in Virginia’s hunt country, Hunter’s Head Tavern has been part of Upperville since 1750. Under the direction of chef and master sommelier Jarad Slipp, the tavern was reimagined as a modern British pub rooted in tradition, with a focus on classic dishes, hospitality, and high-quality ingredients.

We developed the brand image and visual direction for the tavern, creating an identity that reflects both its long history and its new chapter. The work included identity design, website design, photography, menus, and supporting materials. Drawing from traditional British pub references with a contemporary twist, the visual language combines typography, illustration, and imagery to create warmth, familiarity, and refinement. Photography, produced in-house, helps elevate the atmosphere of the tavern while preserving its character and sense of place.
